Are a few emotions one can easily identify with. Could you relate to any of the following: “You feel a worrier, unable to calm down”, “you fret and fume over everything, be it a quick dinner party, or a sudden arrival of guess, or it be an approaching ceremony”, “you constantly fear and fret over work in your work place, you’re terrified what would happen if you lose your job”, “you have sleeping trouble, you suddenly wake up in the middle of the night”, “you find it disheartening to multitask, and imagine the worst in no time” “if I have a stomach ache, it got to be an ulcer”
It is not surprising that a study conducted by American medical council claims that every second person is suffering with aftermath of anxiety and stress. Depression, mental disorders, frequent headaches, body aches, migraine, insomnia or high blood pressure are a few disorders that are common in today’s time. In a disturbed frame of mind, one feels anxious or stressed about even small issues such as child not finishing his home-work, maid not cleaning the house properly, an argument with spouse etc.

Social Anxiety DisorderIt is a conscious irrational fear in which the person feels constantly under scrutiny they feels being closely watched and judged by others, as in public speaking, eating, or using public facilities that makes him fearful of social situations in which they may be subject to the scrutiny of others. If there has been an incident in your past life that shook your confidence of expressing yourself freely, you would feel that block even now. If exaggerated it also explains itself as Agoraphobia (fear of confronting or meeting people). Going back to that even, and releasing the trapped memory and anxiousness along with, displays excellent results.
Panic DisorderThese are best explained as reactions seemingly panicky at anything that is spontaneous and unpredictable. This sort of situation reflects heavily on an unstable mind, emotions of powerlessness and distrust in the common facets of life. This could be due to suppression of emotions, such as fear, distress and hopelessness which could be validated by the fact that patients of panic disorder usually report symptoms of a sinking heart, fatigue even heart attack in later stages.
Generalized Anxiety Disorder"When my problems are at their worst, I just miss work and feel just terrible about it. Then I get worried that I'd lose my job. My life was miserable until I got treatment.”There is no specific reason to trigger anxiety. It just happens. It has so become the constant frame of mind today that anything as small as an interview, meeting with a senior, tiff at workplace, anticipation of a promotion can cause unexplainable stress. This is clearly getting showcased in lowering down the age for a heart stroke to as young as 35.
Specific PhobiasPersistent fear of objects or situations, these could be triggered due to memories in the latent subconscious. When these situations or objects appear, they can produce immediate and severe symptoms of anxiety.
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)Post-traumatic stress disorder is a psychiatric illness that can occur following a traumatic event, in which there is the threat of injury or death to you or someone else. There are times when one’s immediate past life had a miserable and traumatic ending, panic and scars from which reflect in one’s current life too.
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)The person suffering from OCD uses ritualistic and repeated behaviours to rid themselves of obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviours. Recent data show that 2-3% of people, suffer from this disorder.
